Alina Paganini obtained her Master of Dental Medicine degree from the University of Zurich in 2017 and completed her postgraduate training in Pediatric Dentistry in 2020. From 2020 to 2022, she worked in a private practice and at a school dental clinic in Zurich. She subsequently completed her postgraduate training in Oral Surgery (2022–2025) at the University Center for Dental Medicine, University of Basel. Since 2022, she has been involved in undergraduate teaching in Oral Surgery at the University of Basel as a lecturer and teaching supervisor. In 2023, she became a member of the Center of Dental Traumatology at the University Center for Dental Medicine in Basel and an expert committee member of the Swiss Association for Pediatric Dentistry. Since 2025, she serves as Instructor and Research Associate in the Department for Oral Surgery at the University Center for Dental Medicine, University of Basel. Bridging pediatric dentistry and oral surgery, her research focuses on tooth autotransplantation in children under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Reinhilde Jacobs and Dr. Mostafa EzEldeen.
