Profile

Beatriz Caio was born in Maringá, Paraná, Brazil, in 1997. She obtained her degree in Dentistry in 2020 and earned a Master’s degree in Integrated Dentistry from the State University of Maringá (UEM) in 2022. She also completed a residency program in Oral Radiology and Imaging at the same institution in 2024. She is currently a PhD student in Oral Radiology at the Piracicaba Dental School (FOP–UNICAMP) and is an exchange student in the OMFS-IMPATH research group under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Reinhilde Jacobs, supported by a scholarship from the Coordenação de Aperfeiçoamento de Pessoal de Nível Superior (CAPES, Brazilian government). Her research interests focus on Cone Beam Computed Tomography (CBCT) and its various clinical applications in maxillofacial radiology and dentistry.
