Profile

Caio Alencar was born in Salvador, Bahia, Brazil, in 1996. He obtained his degree in Dentistry from the Federal University of Bahia (UFBA) in 2021. He completed his Master’s degree in Oral Radiology and is currently a PhD candidate at the Piracicaba Dental School (FOP–UNICAMP), University of Campinas. He is currently an exchange student in the OMFS-IMPATH research group under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Reinhilde Jacobs, supported by a scholarship from the Coordenação de Aperfeiçoamento de Pessoal de Nível Superior (CAPES). His research focuses on Cone Beam Computed Tomography (CBCT), its clinical applications, and the use of large language models (LLMs) in dentistry.
