CHAIRS

The KU Leuven gives the opportunity to stimulate scientific research by giving chairs, the donator of a chair can give his own name to it. A chair can be financed by individuals, a company or the government. The theme of the chair is determined by a consultation between the donator and the academic institution.

(INTER)NATIONAL FUNDING

Different agencies at national (Flemish) and international level give fundings for fundamental and strategic research in all fields, supporting researchers, projects and infrastructures.
