CHAIRS

The KU Leuven gives the opportunity to stimulate scientific research by giving chairs, the donator of a chair can give his own name to it. A chair can be financed by individuals, a company or the government. The theme of the chair is determined by a consultation between the donator and the academic institution.

ANTHOGYR-STRAUMANN CHAIR FOR ORAL AND MAXILLOFACIAL SURGERY

The purpose of the Chair is the prevention and treatment of neuropathic pain following dento-aveolar and dental implant surgery. Professor Politis is the chair holder and Professor Jacobs is the co-chair holder.
